La promenade de la tourbière d’Alfred est un chemin qu’on aime prendre bien qu’on n’y va pas très souvent. Lors de notre dernière avec notre amie Hélène, nous y avons faite de jolies découvertes. Il semble qu’à chaque nouvelle visite, on y voit quelques plantes qu’on n’avait jamais vues ou remarquées avant.
We love to go to the Alfred bog. It reminds us of some of our Nunavut friend as we find the Newfoundland Pitcher plant in the landscape. There are even some of the same plants as in Arviat, such as Arctic Cotton, Labrador tea and Azalea. This time around though we found some new flowers, many orchids we had never noticed before.
